Manado/Lembeh
with MUREX . Dive sites
included manado, manado
dua, Bunaken & Lembeh
This is a first trip with MUREX in Manado.
We enjoyed diving around Bangka,
Bunaken & Lembeh last year whilst
staying at Gangga so we’re back but
trying out a new resort.
MUREX is the oldest dive resort in Manado
and run by Dr. Batuna’s family
who are also NAUI members.
The advantage of staying here is you
can get to dive at Bunaken, Manado
Dua with it’s deep walls and great visibility
one day and the next take a car
ride to dive at Lembeh Strait which
is said to be the muck diving capital
of the
world.
Eventhough February is supposed to be
the low season we had a wonderful
time seeing all the wonderful critters
and good visibility. One of the highlight
was a blue ring octopus who displayed
its colour changing abilities.
